- Create energy and get to know what others are doing
- Getting together – spending time meeting each other
- Spending some intentional time together – comparing notes
- Data model and other standards initiatives
Day One:
- Officer perspectives. Command officers give their perspectives on GIS
- Overview of how GIS is used in a FD
- User presentations: How area departments are using GIS for various purposes
- Panel discussion on officer needs/technician solutions
- Practical tips and tricks: technical update on model builder and web services
Day Two:
Morning: Training sessions to focus on topics that came up during day one.
Afternoon: Chance to give back: workgroups on selected topics to provide input to national initiatives
