Who We Are

The National Alliance For Public Safety GIS is a consortium of national public safety organizations with a keen appreciation for the importance of geospatial technologies (GIS) to the nation’s preparedness goals.

Established in 2006, these organizations work together in partnership to for the purpose of enhancing our ability to protect our citizens from natural and man-made emergencies. Today, through the NAPSG Foundation, these partner organizations continue to advance the effective use of public safety GIS in pursuit of these common goals.

Participation in the NAPSG is open to national public safety organizations representing state and local public safety interests.
